Getting Hired Should be an Inside Job.
Free Job Seeker Class – Friday, April 16, 2010
The Great Wall of China was never broached…until the people who wanted in got “inside help.”
The Great Wall of Human Resources’ might seem impenetrable for you right now, but with the right tactics, you can get inside help, access to decision makers, and ultimately more interviews.
In this free class (space is limited) we’ll discuss:
• What’s special about you – and what parts of your past will be most enticing to potential managers and team members that will get them to WANT to help you.
• How to keep from scaring potential helpers off by asking for the right things at the right time.
• How to find more of the right kinds of people and get them to enlist as part of your ’sphere of influence’ team – even if they don’t have open jobs today.
• 3 places to get information and content that you can use to reward the right kinds of cooperation.
• How to do all of this and still feel good about yourself in the morning.
The game HR staff and job boards want you to play mean the chances are pretty slim the timing will be right for getting interviews from posted jobs. But you can improve your chances using solid small-business, direct marketing tactics to win friends and get them to use their influence on your behalf.
Come to this free class and learn why the game is keeping you out and how to enlist ‘helpers’ in your quest to get back to work in a job you’ll love.
